As part of our department’s “Introduction to Electrical Engineering” course, Sedef Budak—founder of Turkish Women in Renewables and Energy (TWRE), chair of a women’s platform in the renewable energy sector, and a consultant in this field—participated as a guest speaker. During the session, which drew significant interest from students, various assessments were made regarding the profession and its future, and information was shared that could help students identify opportunities, particularly in the energy sector. At the end of the course, numerous questions were answered, contributing to the development of our students’ ideas and perspectives on the subject.
