The Structural Materials Laboratory operates within the Department of Civil Engineering on a total area of 1000 m2 and serves students and academics for research and educational purposes. At the undergraduate level, it supports Material Science, Construction Materials, and Advanced Concrete Technologies courses; at the graduate level, it provides a comprehensive laboratory infrastructure. In this context, the laboratory also hosts many research projects conducted by faculty members with student participation.
Current research topics include the microstructure and properties of materials, historic building materials, concrete production techniques and admixtures, the use of industrial wastes in concrete technology, durability and sustainability, and the service life of structural elements.

Eğitim-öğretim ve araştırma için mevcut bilgisayar ekipmanları
İnşaat Fakültesi bünyesinde 4 units bilgisayar laboratuvarı bulunmaktadır. Her laboratuvarda 40’ar units olmak üzere toplamda 160 units masaüstü bilgisayar bulunmaktadır. Bu laboratuvarlarda SAP, Autocad, Matlab gibi programlar uygulamalı olarak öğretilmektedir. Mevcut bilgisayar ekipmanları aşağıdaki gibidir.
